In what came as great news for Delhi-Gurgaon commuters, the travel time between Delhi and Gurgaon was significantly reduced on Tuesday with the inauguration of two flyovers on National Highway-8 at Mahipalpur and Udyog Vihar crossings.
With the opening of these flyovers, constructed as part of the Delhi-Gurgaon Access-Controlled Expressway project, the traveling time between Delhi and Gurgaon has reduced from about 50 minutes earlier to just about 25 minutes now. In fact one can reach IFFCO Chowk from the Rao Tula Ram flyover (which is under construction) in less than 10 minutes. Also, with the diversion gone, the traveling distance between Rajokari and Mahipalpur has been reduced by around 3 km.
The opening of the 1.8-km Mahipalpur flyover and the 1.5 km Udyog Vihar flyover comes within three months of the inauguration of the Gurgaon Sector-31 and Jharsa flyovers on NH-8. And things are going to further improve for the commuters, with the completion work of the flyovers at South City and Iffco Chowk being speeded up for opening.
I was in search of something like this and here i found it. Thanks for this wonderful post by your side. Keep sharing such stuff with all.
